Dock Master

Skills & Abilities:
The Dock Master is responsible for overseeing all dry dock operations including the safe docking and undocking of vessels, planning and execution of docking schedules, supervising dock personnel, and ensuring proper operation and maintenance of dock systems such as pumps, ballast systems, winches, and support equipment; candidates should have 8–12 years of relevant shipyard or marine experience with strong knowledge of vessel stability, docking plans, and safety regulations, along with the ability to read technical drawings and coordinate with marine engineers, project teams, and vessel crews; strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations simultaneously; experience in international shipyards (Gulf/Europe) and relevant marine or technical certifications will be an added advantage.
