Deckman

Skills & Abilities:
The Deckman is responsible for assisting in daily deck operations on vessels or within shipyard environments, including mooring and unmooring, cargo handling, cleaning and maintenance of deck areas, and supporting rigging and lifting activities; candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience in marine or shipyard work, with basic knowledge of ropes, knots, deck tools, and equipment, along with the ability to follow instructions from the Boatswain (Bosun) and supervisors; must be physically fit to work in demanding conditions such as heights, confined spaces, and varying weather, with good teamwork, discipline, and safety awareness, including proper use of PPE; willingness to learn and adapt to operational requirements is essential, and experience in international shipyards (Gulf/Europe) will be an added advantage.
